CAMP UPDATE! Praise God for an awesome camp season! One particular night at Black Mountain, NC, Siran Stacy, former University of Alabama running back, encouraged everyone that when God speaks to your heart, to live a life of obedience to Him. Then he shared how one man's abuse of alcohol led to the death of his wife and four of his five children. Before an invitation was even given, one young athlete stood and began walking to the altar. When he was directly in front of Siran, he dropped to his knees, raised his arms and began weeping. Then, over 300 students and coaches filled the altar! For over an hour, athletes, coaches and staff poured their heart out to God for salvation and for a greater life of obedience. It was an awesome sight to witness 128 first-time salvations and 84 recommitments to a deeper walk with God! Thanks to our faithful supporters for their prayers and financial gifts to help make an eternal difference in the lives of our Alabama youth! |
